OUR HISTORY
RION Equipment has a long and proud history of delivering material handling equipment and warehouse solutions to our partners across the Upper Midwest. In 1970 we launched our business in Western Nebraska and, a decade later, opened a second location in Omaha. Since then we’ve built lasting relationships with industry leaders including Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, Hawker Motive Power, Taylor Machine Works and Shuttlewagon, and grown to brick-and-mortar locations in eight states.
Whether we were known as Nebraska Lift Systems, NMC Material Handling or RION Equipment, our commitment hasn’t changed: perform with integrity, strive for excellence and deliver the same top-flight service and equipment to every partner.

Nebraska Lift Systems acquires Missouri Valley Machinery’s Industrial Division.

Nebraska Lift Systems acquires Lincoln Equipment’s Industrial Division.

Nebraska Lift Systems becomes NMC Material Handling.
1996
Begins partnership with Caterpillar and Mitsubishi.
2000s

Begins partnership with Jungheinrich; NMC Material Handling expands into Iowa.
2005
Begins partnership with Hawker Motive Power.

Expands into North Dakota and South Dakota.
2018
Begins partnership with Taylor Machine Works in Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Expands into Wyoming.
